Jane Pringle "Susie" Seal

September 25, 1942 - May 4, 2025

Bay St. Louis, Mississippi - Jane Pringle Seal went to the Lord peacefully, surrounded by her children, at her home in Bay St. Louis, MS on May 4, 2025.

Known as Susie by her family and friends, she was born in Biloxi, MS and attended Gulfport High School and Gulf Park College in Long Beach. In 1974, Susie married Leo Seal, Jr., President of Hancock Bank, and moved to his family home in Bay St. Louis. A resident of Bay St. Louis for over fifty years, she was of the Episcopal faith and was a member of the Daughters of the King. She enjoyed her service as a board member of the Bay-Waveland Yacht Club, the Infinity Science Center, and the Hancock County Library System, and treasured her monthly meetings with the women of the Millennium Club.

Susie leaves her children; grandchildren; and great-granddaughter; as well as her many dear friends, a legacy of hilarious stories and joyful memories.

McCurdy, and sons, Wallace Lee Seal and his wife Elizabeth, and Leo William Seal, III and his wife, Farrah. Her grandchildren are Reilly Rendeiro and Remy Rendeiro, Leo Seal, IV and Lucy Seal, Hadley Seal and Casey Seal. Scarlett Jane Regan is her great granddaughter. She is also survived by her brother, Ralph Pringle.

Susie was preceded in death by her father, James Pringle and her mother, Jane Wood Pringle.

Visitation will be held at Christ Episcopal Church in Bay St. Louis on Monday, May 12th from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by the Funeral Service presided by Rev. Patrick Sanders. Burial will be private for family members. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
