Jo Cornelius Obituary
Mrs. Cornelius was a long time resident of Long Beach, MS and San Diego, CA.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Wayne Cornelius of Long Beach, MS; a daughter, Suzanne Lee Swink of Washington, DC; a son, Paul John Swink, Jr. of Gulfport, MS; four grandchildren, Penny Lane Swink of Long Beach, MS, and Jacob, Sienna and Dylan Cornelius all of San Diego, CA.
A Memorial Service will be Sunday, September 25, 2011 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport.

Rich, I want to express my deepest sympathy to you as I just now found out about Jo. I worked with Jo at the Party goods store in MS back in 2000. She was such a great friend and we had a lot in common. I am sorry to hear such news. I hope you are doing well, and my best to the family. Jody in Colorado.

Rich and Family, I'm very sad to hear about Joni. I'll always remember her Chesire smile and laughter, and how I always looked forward to our interactions.
As a couple, you always lit up the room.

"My sincere condolences to Joni's family. I knew her but a brief time at Architects | Delawie Wilkes Rodrigues Barker when I first arrived in this office. Through her I learned to value the inner office procedures which are necessary if a large office of diverse personalites are to function effectively. To this day I think of Joni whenever I venture downstairs to request a company check before heading down to City Hall on some project errand.

Dearest Rich and Family, Our hearts hurt over the loss of your dear Joni. Yours has been a true love affair to remember. We wanted you both to grow old together and losing her now is a pain impossible to comprehend. There are so many fond memories we shall treasure from skiing in Mammoth to golfing in Palm Springs. We savored good food, great wines, and happiness together. You will remain in our thoughts and prayers. Love always.
