To the Donohoe Family,
We grieve with you for your loss. Matthew was a climber of trees, a tinker of electronics,a player of song, a listener to others, and a helper to many. He was a good son, father, brother, husband, and friend. We are blessed because he touched our lives. We will miss him. God bless you and comfort all of you in your grief. Mary and Tom

I had the pleasure of teaching Matt 8th grade English. He was a very inquisitive, happy and sociable young boy. The students enjoyed being around him. Matt was the student a teacher never forgot. I saw him again a couple of years ago at C Spire. He was a young married man then, but that great personality of his was still inside just pouring out. Very cheerful and so helpful in teaching his former teacher how to use my new phone! It always warms my heart to see former students and hear them talk about the changes they have made into adulthood. Matt will always have a special place in my heart. Heather, I will continue to keep you and your daughters, and your families in my prayers.

I want to express my deepest sympathy for Matt's family. You do not know me but I had the opportunity to meet Matt at a business my husband and I had in Wiggins. Matt would come in and eat "pulled pork nachos" it seems every week. I saw him a couple of weeks ago and told him I will be making nachos again very soon - he was so excited for me. He was truly a remarkable young man. God has an awesome angel with him now. Matt will be greatly missed by so many people - he has touched so many lives. My husband and I send our prayers to Matt's family and friends. God Bless You.

Matthew sold me my new phone. He was so helpful to an older lady who is not tech-wise. What a wonderfully fine person he was. God knows this too, as he called him home early. My sympathy to his family. Kay Skeide

GOD needed an angel, so HE chose your son. Why else would he take someone that's still so young? HE knew in HIS wisdom that Matt would be the best. HE knew Matt was strong and he could pass the test. GOD had a pair of wings that needed someone tall. So when HE started looking, Matt answered HIS call. The wings fit Matt just right, and he sits by GOD's side. You can see that it's Matt with his smile a mile wide. He knows of your sorrow, the pain cuts like a knife. He knows he is missed by his family and his wife. But he had an opportunity that he could not pass up. A promotion he would have to help with technical stuff. So be proud Matt was chosen. He's just a prayer away. He's there to help GOD with new tech stuff day to day.

I am so sorry for your loss. Matt was a credit to Cspire and a blessing to all he came in contact with. I don't know how Cspire will do without him, 'cause he can't be replaced. He was remarkable young man. Prayers for healing go out to you and your family.

May 6, 2014

Your son, husband, and father was a wonderful man. I met him at CSpire and I learned early on that nobody could possibly help me like Matt. He was always patient with my lack of technological ability and could always figure out what I was trying to tell him. He always had a smile and laugh. He talked so fondly about his wife and children. I had a chance to meet his brother and they seemed so much alike. My husband knows his Dad and thinks they are all a great family. His loss on earth is certainly heaven's gain. God needed another good right hand man. He will be missed by so many.

Helen & Joe,
Joe and I are so sorry to hear about Matt's passing. All I could think about when I heard this was the day I checked 3 boys out of school and took them to the Beau to see "The Petty's." He was such a happy boy. I also had the pleasure to catch up with him a couple of months ago. He turned into a sweet young man. He told me about his wife and girls. They were lucky to have him.
