Terri Nyers Downs, age 63, passed away on January 24, 2017, in Ocean Springs, MS.
Terri is survived by her husband of 40 years, Charles R. Downs; her son, Chris; her daughter, Nicci (Matthew); her beloved grandchildren, whom she adored, Zander and Thuy´; her mother, Donna Nyers Clegg; her brothers, Jim, and Rick (Kim); and her faithful French Bulldog, CoCo.
She was preceded in death by her father, James J. Nyers, her grandparents, Elmer & Libby Wuerzburger, and Norman & Joyce Bullard.
Terri was born on March 14, 1953 in Indianapolis, IN. She graduated from Royal High School in Simi Valley, CA and from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in English.
Terri was a loving daughter, wife, mother, Nani, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed fishing, reading, spending time with her family and watching the Alabama Crimson Tide. Roll Tide Roll!!
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017, 4:00-6:00 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. at Washington Ave, Ocean Springs. Memories may be shared at www.riemannfamily.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
