Doris Sivula Hingston

Doris Delight (Dee Dee) Sivula Hingston passed away peacefully on February 17, 2016 of natural causes. Dee Dee was born on April 26, 1924 in Ironwood, Michigan. She was the youngest of 3 children born to Dr. Matthew O. Sivula and his wife, Edith Christian Sivula. Her sister, Faye Sivula Krznarich (Joseph Krznarich) and brother, John Matthew Sivula (Margie Sivula) preceded her in death. Dee Dee graduated from Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin where she met and married The Reverend Allen Robert Hingston, Episcopal priest. She was most recently a resident of St. Andrews Estates in Boca Raton, Florida was a faithful member of St. Gregory's Episcopal Church. Dee Dee was enormously proud of her family: son, Robert Allen Hingston (Pinecrest FL); daughters Debbie Hingston Dolson (Coconut Grove FL), Karen Hingston Padgett (LaFayette GA), Kristin Susan Hingston (Coral Springs FL); sons-in law, John Conrad Dolson (Coconut Grove FL), Edgar Allen Padgett (LaFayette GA); grandchildren Joshua Allen Dolson and his wife, Noemi Castellanos Dolson (Tampa FL), Kristin Dolson Hinrichs and her husband Jon Dieter Hinrichs (Gaithersburg MD). Her most recent joy was the birth of her great-grandson, Conrad Joshua Dolson just 3 months ago in Tampa FL. Dee Dee was an immensely kind, and gracious person who always thought of others first. She was the family matriarch and the "Queen Bee" to the end. She leaves a legacy of grace and strength and had a positive impact on everyone around her. It is said that memories are a way to hold on to the ones we love. Dee Dee left us with countless precious memories in our hearts. Memorial donations in Dee Dee's honor may be made to the American Cancer Society Breast Cancer Research or the American Heart Association. Please join the family March 6, 2016 when Dee Dee will be remembered at the 10:30 a.m. service at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Coconut Grove, FL There will also be a memorial service Monday, March 7 in the chapel at St. Andrews Estates South, 6045 S. Verde Trail, Boca Raton.
