Frank Farrugia Obituary

Farrugia, Frank Xavier, 80, of Tamarac, FL, passed in peace on Thursday July 23, 2009, after a brave battle with cancer. He beat all odds against pancreatic cancer for 5 years. Frank remains in spirit and love with his children: Frank (Kathy), Dan (Deb), Teresa (Bill), George (Carol), Michelle (Dana) and Karen (Pete). Frank also has 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Frank was an expert sheet metal fabricator and ballroom dancer, whose style and grace delighted all his friends. Frank loved to travel and called Florida and Michigan home, with his special friend Connie by his side. Frank is survived by siblings Danny, Rosie, Lorraine and Katy. A memorial service will be held Monday July 27, 2009 from 2 pm until 6 pm, at Grace Funeral Chapels, 5980 West Oakland Park Blvd., Lauderhill, FL 33313. A Michigan service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to American Cancer Society or Vitas Hospice. You were the best grandfather and it will be so hard not to have you around teasing me and to talk Maltese with. We will have all of our memories and I will see you again someday, but it won't be the same without you. I know you will always be with me, though, and I'm relieved that you are no longer suffering. Inhobbok, Nannu...hafna. Qed nimmissjak.
