Gregory Zann Obituary

Zann, Gregory J. MD, 80, of Boca Raton, FL passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2004 at Heartland of Boca Raton. Mr. Zann moved to Boca Raton in 1974 from Toledo, OH, was a member of Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church, proudly served in the United States Navy during WW II and in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Zann practiced 50 years combined in both South Florida and Toledo, OH as an OBGYN. Preceded in death by his daughter, Donna in 1996. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mildred Zann, Boca Raton, FL, 3 sons: Gregory J. (Janet) Zann III, DDS of Boca Raton, FL, Robert B. Zann, MD of Delray Beach, FL and Geoffrey J. (Emily) Zann, MD of Boca Raton, FL, sister: Gilda Covucci, Toledo OH and 7 grandchildren: Christopher, Gregory, Julie, Lawren, Geoffrey, Bryan, and Megan. Visiting hours from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Friday, February 13, 2004 at Babione Funeral Home, Southeast Corner Glades Rd and Federal Hwy, where a wake service will take place at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 9:30 AM on Saturday, February 14, 2004 at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at the Boca Raton Mausoleum. The Zann family requests expressions of sympathy to the Alzheimer's Association 1-800-272-3900 and or New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. Arrangements entrusted to: Babione Funeral Home East Chapel 561-395-8787.
