Jacqueline Quinlan Obituary

Quinlan Quinlan, Jacqueline D. Jacqueline D. Quinlan, a resident of Fort Lauderdale, Florida peacefully passed away on December 1, 2011 after a prolonged illness. Jacqueline, a native of Marseille, France, was a longtime resident of Kansas City, Missouri where she devoted much of her time as a volunteer and patron of the arts. She was active with The Kansas City Symphony, Nelson Atkins Museum Society of Fellows, The Lyric Opera, The Kansas City Ballet, The Alliance Francaise, and the Friends of Chamber Music. Jacqueline, a fashion designer by trade, continued her passion during her life by designing women s couture-wear for private clients, boutiques in Kansas City and New York City, and extending her talent to design costumes for the Kansas City Ballet. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, John J. Jack Quinlan, and is survived by her three children Sabra Quinlan of Lenexa Kansas, Timothy Quinlan of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Cathleen Quinlan Hodgson of Sea Ranch Lakes, Florida; as well as four grandchildren, Madeleine and Eloise Quinlan, and Tom and Julian Hodgson. Jacqueline was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her charming smile and exuberance will be missed by all. Memorial Services are private. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer s Association, 3333 Forest Hill Boulevard, West Palm Beach, FL 33406.
