Hello, I think he was my Grandfathers cousin. If anyone is still monitoring this, I'd love to get on touch for family history notes.

I had known Jim most of my life - starting with Park Temple Methodist church back in the 60s (where I met his twin sons Glen and Jim who are a couple of years older than me). When I started working for Broward County in the 70s I would always run into Jim, and years later when I started working for the City of Wilton Manors in the early 1990s, I would bump into Jim either at the library where his wife Marcia was Library Director or at City Hall when he served on the P& Z Bd. It got to be a wonderful joke between us that whenever I saw him, I would start singing "Man of My Dreams, I love you...." and then give him a big hug. Well, Jim, thanks for the memories, the laughter, the fellowship, and just for being the most gracious southern gentleman I have ever met! Save a place for me in the heavenly choir (but not too soon!!!)....will miss you greatly.

Jim & Glen,
Sorry for your loss. I'll never forget the first plane ride I ever took, your Dad (AKA Mr. Ellington) was the pilot. Clearly he enjoyed a full and productive life. I wish the same for you both, as well as your families.

We have many wonderful memories of Jim and the good times shared with he and Marcia. He and I shared our love of UK basketball. We will miss him and send our deepest sympathy to Marcia and family. Mary Mosby and Bill Siler
