Leah von Klock Obituary

Klock von Klock, Leah Jane, was born on September 18, 1925 in Indianapolis, IN, and passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2011 in Maryville, TN. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Maryville, TN, and previously Englewood United Methodist, Englewood, FL and St. Andrews Methodist, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She was a resident of Greenback, TN for the past 9 years, and previously over 57 years in FL, after moving there as a teenager with her parents. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Ruth Kline, and brother, Richard Kline. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Anthony R. von Klock; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Roger League, and daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Tom Flynn. She is also survived by many wonderful and caring friends and other family members. Most important to her were her family, friends, and church. She was a member of the Wesleyan Service Guild from 1952 to the present United Methodist Women. Her special talent was her hobby of writing, mostly of lifetime experiences and memories. The family expresses appreciation for those who cared for her at Colonial Nursing Transitional Care Center in the final days of her life. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Englewood Methodist church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Smoky Mountain Animal Care Foundation (SMACF), P. O.
