Michael and The "Circle of Hope"

July 14, 2010

Michael partnered with Macy's Marketing, Men's INC Clothing, OUT Magazine, and Broward House for the last four years to host an annual fashion show at Macy's Galleria to benefit Broward House. He was passionate about this cause and was proud of the amount of money raised to benefit this organization, which serves our local community. Too honor Michael's memory and support this cause, I partnered with Terry DeCarlo of Broward House to create the Michael Breitzman "Circle of Hope" memorial fund. Any donation of $25 or more by a Macy's employee is eligible for matching by Macy's by going to employeeconnection.net and filling out the appropriate paperwork. My hope was to honor Michael, help this organization, and bring something positive to the devestation that I feel over his passing. Please take a look at the following link:

Thank you.

Michael:
The 24 years that we spent together mean the world to me, more than you could ever know. You were the center of my universe, my best friend and partner. From the time we met, I knew that I had found the person that I wanted to love who could make me complete. We brought out the best, and sometimes the worst of each other, but we were always together, M & M, Mark & Michael. Of couse we had our ups and downs, but overall it was a great run, just way too short! We were like Ying and Yang, different but just worked together so well. We were a family, you, me, and your babies, Mia and Bella. Our family now has a huge hole which we will always feel.

You fought so, so hard. Things were looking better and but then took an unexpected turn for the worse and within 24 hours you were gone. I tried to give you all the support, comfort, and love I could but I'm sorry that it just wasn't enough to save you. You gave it all you had and fought valiantly but we lost the battle. I just can't believe or accept that you're gone. Your body was tired, you were weak, and you needed to rest.

Loving you and missing you now and forever.

Mark

To Michael's Family, Friends and Mark...Michael had a very ingaging and genuine personality. He was funny too. He always made me feel part of his team, even though I knew little how to play the game sometimes. And last he solved one of the many questions I had while shopping at the Drug Stores. I always wondered who would buy and eat those big orange peanut candy looking things...now I know who did. God Bless. Mary Albin
