Hi Larry-
For whatever reason, I have no idea why, I felt that I needed to see how Morty was doing. My father passed away in August 1985, so during the summer months I remember the events of his passing and that often leads me to think him, his history and friends, often leading me to think about Morty. Given your enormous public fame (and isn't that incredible!), I thought there might be some information on the web. I Googled Dad but did not expect to see that Dad had passed. I am so deeply sorry and my wishes and prayers to you and your family. I still remember Dad from when i was a young boy and my father Seymour, had introduced me to Morty. I still remember your father and mine kidding around about their boys. And of course, I remember so vividly all the fun we had with our friends in Shellbank and SBHS and lunches at Martin's and Chinese food too. I can even remember how you dribbled a basketball and a number of other things that are forever etched in my memory.
So upset to read about Dad. I hope that your Mom is OK. Mine still lives in our apartment on Ocean Ave. and Ave. Z. Can't forget the way streets are named I'm sure.
Wonderful memories of you at the TEP house at Brooklyn College when you visited during the holidays. Just wonderful memories of all our friends and all the laughs we shared.
Hope you and your family are doing well. Thanks for saying hello to my eldest daughter Amy in the city while you were filming and for remembering me.
I don't know if you'll ever receive this note, but the urge to even check on Morty is very Twilight Zone-ish. I'll think of him often.
Maybe we'll have a reunion one day soon, if your busy schedule can handle it. Easy to think about, more difficult to achieve I'm sure.
Sorry Larry. I'll miss Dad.
Love to Mom. We always had fun.
