Myron Lyon Altschuler

Myron Lyon Altschuler, a resident of Boca Raton, Florida, died on May 1, 2017 following a short illness. He was born on December 28, 1926 in Bayonne, New Jersey to the late Maurice and Rose Altschuler. Myron graduated from the University of Miami and served in the Coast Guard during World War II. He then embarked on a 50 year business career and served as a senior executive of the F&A Distributing Company, a New Jersey wine and spirits distributor, prior to retirement. Mr. Altschuler was a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America, an organization that he served for many years as a Director and ultimately as its Chairman. Myron was predeceased by his brother, Bernard Altschuler. Survivors include his wife, Ruth (nee Eason) Altschuler and her children; nephews, Jeffrey, Mark, and Steven Altschuler. He is also survived by his many friends. Myron will be missed by all. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 4th at Temple Beth EL of Boca, 333 SW 4th Avenue, Boca Raton, FL 33432. Contributions may be made in his loving memory to the charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 5808 W. Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33484.
