PEGGY DE FRECE JUPITER, AGE 102, December 11, 1919- MARCH 9, 2022

Peggy De Frece Jupiter, was born in NYC, daughter of Helen and Zion De Frece Bernstein, founder of Norton Store in NYC. Peggy graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts & was a stage actress. Peggy lived in NYC, NJ and Fl. She married her first love, Hyman Stuart Kaplan, who passed away in 1951. She continued life with her loving husband Jacob Jupiter, until he passed in 2006. Predeceased by sisters Patsy Schreck & Pamela Uttal. Peggy was proud of her four children (Kathy Karp, Laurie Cassel, Tommy & Danny Cassel), nine grandchildren (Jennifer Pearlman, Vanessa Frank, Heather Epstein, Liana Cassel, Adam Cassel, Devan, Demi, Jason & Greg Cassel) & six great-grandchildren (Stella & Jeremy Frank, Conrad Pearlman, Elizabeth & Evan Epstein). Peggy was a loving, joyful, beautiful, wonderful person, who volunteered at her synagogue & Mitzvah Angels, had many friends & Peggy will be dearly missed. Danny- if you see this- we (my sister Loretta) just found this. This was a beautiful tribute to your mother, who I remember as Aunt Peggy, when we lived in Miami Beach---66 years ago! I'd love to hear from you. Your cousin from long ago- Devy (aka Debby) Cassel, now Castor. I live in FL.
