Samuel Bellin

Samuel Bellin, 83, formerly of New London, CT passed away suddenly, on April 6, 2014, at his home in Delray Beach, FL. Born December 6, 1930 in Williamsburg, NY and raised in Bridgeport, CT. He graduated from the School of Pharmacy at The University of Connecticut in 1951. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He settled in New London, CT, with his wife Barbara, and was owner of Bellin's Pharmacy for 35 years. Samuel was very active in the New London Jewish community. For many years he wintered in San Juan, Puerto Rico, before settling in Delray Beach, Florida. Samuel is predeceased by his wife, Barbara Bellin, and is survived by his companion of five years, Eileen Anderson, and his children and their families: Son, Mark Bellin and wife Rebecca of Rumson, NJ.; Daughters, Nancy Bellin and spouse Leslie Sattler of Dedham, MA, and Lisa Punsalan and husband Alex of Weston, FL. Grandchildren include Sara, Melissa and Elizabeth Bellin, and Evan and Emma Punsalan. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 9, 11:00am at Sinai Memorial Chapels, 15120 Jog Road, Delray Beach, Florida with burial to follow.
