Vivian Christie Obituary

Christie, Vivian P., beloved aunt and friend, passed away on April 19, 2005. She was born in Valley Stream, Long Island, NY on March 21, 1912. Vivian graduated from St. Mary's High School, Katonah, NY and New York Nursing School in Brooklyn, NY with a Registered Nursing degree in 1933. Vivian was highly regarded by the Westchester County Hospital System where she worked for many years. She was predeceased by her husband, John P. Christie of New York, who she was married to for twenty-two years; by her sister, Madelon Gabel Wade; and her brother, John E. Gibney. She is survived by her niece, Carole Inglis, and husband, Jack, of Houston, Texas; nephew, William Rodney Gabel, and wife, Ann, of Dallas, Texas. Also surviving are two grandnieces, three grandnephews, four great-nieces and four greatnephews. Vivian was resident of St. Andrews Estates for seventeen years and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2005 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Jude Catholic Church, 21689 Toledo Rd., Boca Raton, FL. Babione Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
