Michael Allie Adams, 79, of Booneville passed from this life Monday, Nov. 19, 2018. He was born Nov. 3, 1939, in Southgate, Calif., to the late Fred C. and Lillian (Coltrin) Adams.
Mike was very involved in the Boy Scouts. He was the ranger at Rogers Scout Reservation in Ione for 23 years, until his retirement. He will also be remembered for his dedication to the boys of South Logan County Boy Scout Troop 189 and the boys and girls of Booneville Explorer Post 99. Mike taught integrity, kindness, generosity of self and work ethic by example.
Mike enjoyed cooking for his family and friends and could be seen in the kitchen or at a campfire. He cooked like he lived life, with joy and love to all.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; his younger sister, Rose-Mary; and his son-in-law, Robby Williams.
Mike is survived by his special angel, Evelin; his son and daughter-in-law, Marshall and Pam and their children Jayde, Jennifer and Seth; his daughter, Michaelin and her children Nicolle and Zachary; his daughter, Portland and her daughter and son-in-law Taylor and Bryan; his daughter, Whitney and her partner Shawn and their children Alex and Zane; and his older sister and brother-in-law, Louise Adams and Mike Folkestad.
A celebration of his life will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at Heritage Addition Church of Christ in Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
