Ronok

October 22, 2007

My name is Ronok,
I first met Curtis in 1990 during the Seattle aloha occupation
and later when he lived with Magenta on 45th
he was very kind to me and like a big brother, they let me
stay in their home when I did not have a place to live and
met his family when they came to visit, Over the years I tried
to always have an open door for Curtis, he had given
some of his stuff to me "for safe keeping" over the years
and I had planed to get in contact with him, I had just returned
from a year over seas, and so I am just now finding out,
I now face the duty of filling in all his
Seattle friends that have not heard news
Curtis was missed before he was gone by many friends here
in Love and Peace
My best thoughts to all Family & Friends
Ronok

My name is Tami and I work with Andre'a. I met Curtis and Andre'a about a year ago and I will always treasure the time we had with Curtis. I invited them to Lake Miccosukee one Sunday to come and spend the day to relax, eat and have fun with us as we cook out at the lake every Sunday. The first Sunday they came will forever stay a wonderful memory for me because the lake is my sanctuary and without even having to explain Curtis understood and loved it too. In the short time I knew Curtis he became very very special to me. There wasn't a time that he came in to see me at work or called for Dre'a or out at the lake that he didn't tell me that he loved me and when he told me I never doubted it. It's been more than a week and I'm still waiting for that old beat up white truck that he loved to pull up out front and Curtis to come popping in just to say Hi and tell me that he loves me. My two sons Joe and Ty and my boyfriend Joker were all touched by Curtis' kindness and loving personality. They say that only the good die young and they proved that when Curtis' was taken from all of us. He will be forever loved and remembered and truly missed. Our deepest sympathies to his mother, father and sister. Dre'a sweetie know that we love you dearly and will always be here for you if you should need us. Some day I hope you can take comfort in knowing that one day you and Curtis will be together again. May he rest in peace.

I am a friend of the Hamilton family and just want to say that I know everyone's words mean so much to them. If you are reading this Guest Book and thinking about what you could write, or whether you should write anything at all, don't hesitate.... Just say what you feel - you will never know a more grateful and loving family...that's why so many of you knew so much love and acceptance in your relationship with Curtis. Sharing from your heart will touch their lives and yours. God's peace Carolyn, Orrin, Val, Andrea....

Dear Andrea, Carolyn, Orrin and Valerie: I received an e-mail from Hilda today and am still in shock. Curtis was a wonderful boy to have in guitar class. Both he and Orrin were students to treasure. My heart goes out to all of you. I'm so sorry I wasn't in town for the services.

I first met Curtis as a student at Gilchrist Elementary, and we became friends right off the bat. We spent many hours riding mini bikes and playing "war" at his place, as well as mine. Curtis was a class act and a joy to be around. My family and I will truly miss him, but we know he's in a good place. We send our regards to his family.

My name is Krista McMullen. I went to SAIL with Curtis. We went through a lot together and with other friends. If it wasn't for Curtis, I don't think I'd be where I am now. He gave me my best friend, Dana. Dana and I had a mutual best friend, Curtis. Only we couldn't stand eachother. But through similar circumstances and Curtis being so insistant, Dana and I became best friends. I don't think he had any idea how much of an impact he had on our lives. Even our children's and hopefully our grandchildren's lives. :) I love him so much and will miss him greatly. My biggest regret, though, is that I didn't try harder to find his phone number just a few weeks ago. That doesn't minimize, though, how we all feel about him. We love you, Curtis and will miss you more than you could ever know.

My thoughts are with you in this time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I first met Curtis in 1988. He had a fantastic sense of humor and, although we lost touch, I will never forget him.

Dana Richardson

January 6, 2007

My name is Dana Richardson and I went to S.A.I.L with Curtis. He was my best-friend in high school. I am so grateful to him,in high school he had another best-friend named Krista and we didn't get along, he was always begging us to be friends, because it would be great if the three of us were best friends. It finally happened and Krista and I are the best of friends, we even bought houses next to each other and our kids don't know it yet but they have a prearranged wedding. I saw him about a year ago in Monticello and told him about Krista and I and he was happy that we were still friends. Thank you Curtis for being so pushy about Krista and giving me something that I will have for the rest of my life. You will truely be missed and you will forever be in my heart. Dana
