For those of you that did not know my mother died two weeks after my father.

Jim worked with my cousin Gene Root at Lockheed Sunnyvale, and my father Victor Marquis in Huntsville. Jim and my Dad were part of the small startup group for the HSV facility. I remember a rented office on Governors Dr. 1963 I guess.

My deepest sympathies in your loss. Jim was a great man. My father Wilfred and Jim were good friends in the archeological society here in Huntsville. I remember fun digs and get-togethers. We were fortunate to know him.
Best wishes.

I joined Lockheed under Jim's leadership. I admired him as a great leader and looked up to him as a person of wisdom. It was great to hear of his adventures from time to time after he retired. May his soul rest in heaven.
