Justin had a significant influence on my life at Utica College/Syracuse University.
We kept in touch occasionally over the years. Although we had significantly different
political views, he was always both tolerant and accepting of mine.
Justin had a brilliant mind and was an exceptional teacher.
He will be missed and remembered fondly by the great many, whose life he touched for the better.

He had deep knowledge of science fiction and informed his long view of it, learned also from his elegant father. He carried this into the Byzantium of philosophy with great insight. A good friend, farewell.

May he R.I.P and may his memories provide comfort to grieving ones, until that new day, when even death will be no more.

Towards a very green first year assistant professor at the time, Justin was friendly, supportive, and genuinely interested in the work and well being of a new colleague. I'll never forget that. And I saw that warm disposition in action over the next several years. RIP Justin. You are in my thoughts Barbara.
