I think of Marshall every year around October 13 (he shared a birthday with Keely). I wish he was still around to see his kids all grown up. Thinking of the family at this difficult time.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Marshall, I loved you like a brother man and I still can't believe you're gone. Glenna, my prayers are with you and the kids. If there is ever anything that I can do just let me know. Marshall accomplished a lot in this life, he had a beautiful wife and two beautiful kids. He was so proud of his family and loved them so much. To Bea Ann, Wally, Kerri, Keith, Devon and Codie, I love you all and I'm here for you any time you need anything. Marshall Bradford, we will never forget you.

Marshall, I know your listening to all of us, and probably trying to tell us not to grieve, because You lived your life every day to the fullest. You had family and friends you loved, worked with with people you enjoyed and respected, and they felt the same in return.I know in my heart that you knew how much I appreciated every thing you done for me , in friendship and in my serious time of need for your training. I am just so sorry I never had the chance to look you in the eye and tell you how grateful I am to you. When I spoke at the church, those words were for you. The only other words that I really have to get out is just this..."I'll see you on the other side my friend". You will not be forgotten...

Well words can not describe how I feel, but I know that we can as a family move on and find peace in our hearts. Even though he was my only brother n law is was the best and my personal favorite. He was always there for my kids birthdays and yes he never looked liked he was having that much fun, he still came and for that we will always remember.

I will also miss Marshall and Kraig on the holidays both sitting in front of the T.V watching football but really sleeping waiting for the day to be over because Glenna and myself had to get them to stop what they were doing just to go sit at another house and eat.

My dear brother n law u will always be missed and never ever forgotten. Love u much. By the way Go Gators! lol

I met Marshall early in my high school days. Marshall was incredibly smart, witty, and very talented. I didn't see him often in our adult years, but whenever I needed help with anything he was always there. He worked so hard to provide for his family. He had so much love for his wife and kids, and that was always evident whenever I talked to him. I know he loved Glenna more than life itself. The Bradford family will be in my prayers for a long time as they mourn the loss of such a wonderful husband, father, and son.

The news of Marshall's sudden passing came as a shock to us all. Marshall was full of life and enjoyed living it to the fullest. A family friend said that he had never met anyone that was as respectful as Marshall, to that, I wholehearetdly agree. It is at a time like this that we learn there aren't sufficient words to comfort those left behind.

We enjoyed sharing special times at our home in Louisiana with Marshall, Glenna and the children. The visits were enjoyed by Cheryl, Granny Marguerite Langston, and I. Marshall and his family has a special place in all of our hearts and we will never forget Marshall and the wonderful times we shared. It is unfortunate that he was taken so suddenly for we looked forward to many more good times in the future.

I hope and pray that God grants peace and comfort to Glenna, the children, and all of Marshall's family and friends.
