Steven B. Kazmirski Jr.

Steven B. Kazmirski Steven B. Kazmirski, Jr., of Rockledge, age 89, received his wings on July 24, 2010, with his family by his side. He was born January 12, 1921, reared in Elmira, New York, and attended Elmira Free Academy. While raising his family, he was a Little League coach, as well as being named 1959 Indianapolis "Father of the Year." He was an active member of St. Mary's Church in Rockledge and Divine Mercy Church in Merntt Island and a leader with the Elks of Cocoa and Viera, Knights of Columbus, American Legion, Moose and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Steve was part of the Space Coast legacy through his work on Gemini, Atlas and Titan II programs. He was predeceased by his parents, Steven Sr. and Katherine Kazmirski, sister Mildred Hays and his beloved wife of 60 years, Roberta (Bobby). His memories will be treasured by his daughter, Linda Adams; sons, Steven III and Ronald Kazmirski; four grandchildren, Jan Marks (Joe), Michelle Mallo (Mike), Tara Kazmirski and John Kazmirski; great-granddaughter, Kyleigh Marie Marks; and niece, Malinda Martin (Tommy). Steve also leaves behind his extended family, Lisa Barr, Steve Baughman, Pauia Kazmirski, Kelly Rogers and Sandy Clements.
