Alexander GOTTWALD Obituary

GOTTWALD, Alexander Holiday, died March 24, 2012 at Trinity Hospital. He was born Nov. 1, 1923 in New Waterford, N.S. He spent most of his life living in Lancaster, MA and owning his own business as an Interior Decorator and Remodel Contractor before retiring to Florida in 1978. He enjoyed the warm weather of Florida and traveling during the summer to Nova Scotia. His hobbies included golf and working in his wood work shop. He leaves the love of his life, Anne E. (Chase) Gottwald whom he married on July 18, 1951; three sons, Wayne (Cheryl) of New Hampshire, Derrick (Patsy) of Naples and Kevin of Sarasota; five grandchildren, Kimberly, John, Krystal, Annalisa and Alex as well as two great-grand-children, Samantha and Keith. There will be a Memorial Mass on Saturday at 10 am at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church in Holiday. Burial will follow at the North Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens in New Port Richey.
