Dennis Langford Obituary

LANGFORD, Dennis Ray, 55, of Zephyrhills, Fla., passed away Saturday, January 13, 2007 in Dade City under the care of Hernando-Pasco Hopsice. Dennis was born January 25, 1951 in Sebring, Florida to Carlton R. and Hazel L. (Crunkelton) Langford and came to Zephyrhills in 1983 from Tampa. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Viet Nam. He was a member of the Zephyrhills Veterans of Foreign Wars the Order of the Moose, he was the owner and operator of a construction business and was a Baptist. He is survived by his wife, Debora Langford of Zephyrhills; a son, Michael Berkley of Zephyrhills; a daughter, Shaylen Nieves of Tampa; four grandchildren, Gabriel, Ava, Zarre and Lana; a brother, Richard Langford of Lithia a, FL; three sisters, Cathryn Lanier of Ft. Mead, FL, Joann Bettencourt of Brandon, FL and Julieth Brooks of Lakeland, FL; best friend, Caci; and friends, Pete, Ron and Tommy- Tire family would like to give special thanks to Echo and Amy. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Services will be held 11:00 arn Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Whitfield Funeral Home. Chapel with Pastor Thomas Langley officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. The Zephyrhills V.F.W. will provide Military Honors. In lieu of flowers donations, may be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice, 37445 Clinton Avenue, Dade City, FL 33525.
