George SANCHEZ Obituary

SANCHEZ, George I.

Born December 15, 1940 and passed away peacefully September 25, 2018 with his family by his side at the Jersey Shore University Hospital in Freehold, N.J. He was visiting his youngest sons family and his new grandson. He had a cerebral infraction stroke September 5 2018. George served his country in the Navy and was station on the USS Forrestal, after his Honorable discharge he graduated from the University of Miami in 1969, he joined the work force for a few years then made the decision to attend Stetson University College of Law graduating in 1984. George became a Prosecutor for Pinellas County then went into private practice. He leaves his wife of 34 years, Lynda Gunter-Sanchez; three sons, Derek, Brian (Malinda), Mathew Danny (Melissa); nine grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; his two cats, Buttercup and Gracie. Some favorite things he enjoyed was being with his family and lots of golf. A celebration of his life will be December 1 2018 at Eastlake Woodlands Country Club from 1-4 pm, come share some stories. A memorial gift made be to a charity of your choice.
