Ignacio Soler Obituary

SOLER, Ignacio "Igy," 59, of Sebring, Fla., passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2009, surrounded by family members and friends. Mr. Soler moved to Sebring in 1992 from Miami Springs, Fla. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force Reserves, and was owner of Soler Pressure Cleaning and a partner with Signs Now. He was a member of Grace Bible Church of Sebring, FOE 4240, American Legion Post 133, Loyal Order of Moose 2259 and Veterans of Foreign Wars 4390. Mr. Soler was a devoted fan of Miami Hurricanes, collector of baseball memorabilia and an avid golfer, loved working in his home and yard, and enjoyed being with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Pamela; stepson, Glenn Zeiss; and Val (Cindy) Soler. A visitation will take place 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 2, at Grace Bible Church in Sebring, Fla. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in the Chapel of Peace, with interment to follow. The family has requested all flowers be directed to Lakeview Memorial Gardens 854 Memorial Dr. Avon Park, Fl 33825. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Heartland Horses for Handicapped, P.O. Box 3738 Sebring, Fl 33871-3787, or Human Society of Highlands County, 7321 Haywood Taylor Blvd. Sebring, Fl 33876. Online condolence may be left at www.bankspagetheus.com. Arrangements entrusted to Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, Fla.

Pam & family I am very sorry for the loss of Igy. We spent many days together working on signs. He was a great guy and I will truly miss him.
