Jerry WEGMAN Obituary
77, of Tampa, passed away April 14, 2016. He was born in New Haven Twp., MN to parents, Edwin and Lillian (Tillotson) Wegman. Jerry moved to the Tampa area in 1972 from Springfield, MO. He was a Navy veteran and a member of Incarnation Catholic Church. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Carol Wegman; son, Richard Wegman; daughter, Cari McGarr; grandchildren, Ty Wegman, Ryan Wegman, Taylor McGarr, and Kailani McGarr; great-grandchildren, Aurilus Wegman, Rylan Wegman, and Molly Wegman; brothers, Stan Wegman, Clarence Wegman, and Don Wegman; sister, Barbara Lichtblau. He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Wegman Jr. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass 10 am, Thursday April 28 at Incarnation Catholic Church, Tampa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jerry's memory to Moffitt Cancer Research. Please sign our guestbook at

Many thoughts and prayers for the Wegman and McGarr family. Every time I called or walked into your home over the last 35 years, Jerry made me feel like part of his family. With every word he spoke regardless of who or what it was concerning, I knew he cared deeply. "Mr. Wegman" will never be forgotten. I loved him and I love you all.

I have a lot of fond memories of Jerry when we started working together in St. Paul, Mn. then Lakeville, Mn, then to Springfield, Mo. and our personal lives with his family..Lots of pictures from those days.
