Dear Dan and All our cousins: We are so sorry to hear the news and the great loss. Rest assured she is now with all her sisters, the May girls. She will always be remembered so fondly "as the baby" of the bunch. We know her faith and yours will see you through this.

Mom McCarthy was one of the nicest people I've known in my lifetime. I feel blessed to have known her, but so heartbroken that she is gone. She raised a wonderful family, especially my friend Theresa, thank you for bringing her into this world. No matter what Terri, she will always be in your heart and nobody can take that away from you.
Dad McCarthy, I'm so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful wife, but thank you for sharing her with so many other people. My thoughts are with you and the entire family.

Joann was a model of how to live your life on earth in preparation for eternal life. She will be missed by all. As Pastor Mike said at the 7:30 Mass on Sunday. "She is with the Lord."
