John Rogan Obituary

ROGAN, John D'Arcy, of Sun City Center, died June 23, 2005 on his 75th birthday after a decade-long struggle with Parkinson's disease. He was born in New York City and moved to Miami and later to Roanoke and Richmond, Va. He moved back to Florida from Richmond in 1999. He is survived by his wife, Maura, to whom he was married for 46 years; his daughter, Karen Farmer, and her husband, James of Bloomingdale; and sons, John, Jr. of Los Angeles, Michael, and his wife, Jennifer, of Clearwater, and Robert, of Wilmington, N.C.; and by his grandchildren, Kaleigh and Kiernan Farmer. He is also survived by his brother, Eugene, and his wife, Frances, and numerous nieces and nephews. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and spent the first half of his career as a group manager with Canada Dry and the second half as an executive with Wometco Coca-Cola bottling. Mass of the Resurrection was held on Tuesday, June 28th at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Private burial service was at Serenity Me adows Memorial Park in Riverview, Florida. The family would like to sincerely thank the staffs of the Courtyards, Palm Gardens, and LifePath Hospice, all of Sun City Center. Arrangements by SUN CITY CENTER FUNERAL HOME 813-634-9900
