So many expressed love and support to Justin during his difficult struggle battling cancer and so many expressed that same love and support to us, his family. Words are not sufficient to express our appreciation. We will focus on the goodness of God and his expression of love and salvation through Jesus this Christmas, but we are still grieving that Justin is not with us. His time with us was way too short.

Kathy, Garry and Courtney, Our prayers are with you. What a beauiful service for Justin. Justin was a great young man and that showed by all that attended and filled that church last Friday. That was a great tribute to him - and each of you as well. When I think of Justin, a little boy with a wide smile comes to mind. Oh, and usually he was being followed by his little sister! He was always fun to be around and so polite. My heart breaks for you but I know he is in a better place and watching down on his family and friends.

Justin was a great teammate and a very special young man. I observed Justin from a parents viewpoint, watching him play the game he loved with my son, Corey. He had a zest for life and a smile that immediately captured your heart. He had a way of making you feel as though you knew him your entire life, even though our family only knew him during the glory days of Florida Southern baseball. He made everyone around him feel better and was upbeat and positive all the time. Please know that you have been and will continue to be in our prayers. Corey never had a better friend than Justin and whenever Corey was in town he always made a point to visit with Justin. He will be sorely missed. I know that today he is in heaven along side Coach Anderson looking down on all of us. I am sure that he would want us to carry on with life as he lived it, with a passion and courage that comes only from God. May the peace of God be on your family through these trying times.

For the Lord does not abandon anyone forever. Though he brings grief, he also shows compassion according to the greatness of his unfailing love."
Lamentations 3:22-26; 31-32

Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace when they die.
Isaiah 57:1-2

Garry, Kathy and Courtney, praying that God gives you peace and comfort you need during this unimaginable time. I have so many fond memories from growing up that include you guys. Justin was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. I can almost picture him up in Heaven, strutting around the pool table , cue stick in hand, figuring his next move - with Rusty right by his side. My thoughts, prayers and love are with you.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14

Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
