Dear Francesca,
A little time has elapsed since Leon's passing and we're still experiencing shock and disbelief. We will miss his friendship, his generosity, his sense of humour, and the very interesting and passionate debates. Francesca, you are always on our minds. Stay strong and we hope to see you in March.

Dear Family of Leon Gorski,
A dear friend from New Britain passed on the information that Leon has passed on to another life. This gives me the opportunity to tell you how great he was as a classmate in junior and high school back in the '50s. Because I moved away I lost touch with him but my memories have always been warm and happy. He is no doubt looking down on us all now and feeling the love in our hearts. Best wishes to you all.

Dear Fran,
We were so sorry to hear of Lee's passing and our thoughts are with you at this very tough time. I appreciated all that you and Lee did for the residents of VVN and we hope to see you there in the times to come.

We have never met formally and I know the going must have been rough at times. Thanks for all you have done for the family, especially in this very sad and stressful time.

Dear Fran,
We were deeply shocked to hear of Lee's passing. He was one of the first people we met at VVN in the 1990's. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.

Hi, I was so sad and shocked to see Leon's name in the Hartford Courant. I first met him in New Britain High School when I was in the orchestra and he played the drums. Our friendship continued during our years in college at what became CCSU - where we went to a double-header at Yankee Stadium in NYC.
After college we occasionally bumped into each other and always brought each other up-to-date on our goings and comings.
In any event, I always had the greatest respect and liking for Leon (tha name I always called him by). He was a great guy and is certainly going to be missed.
God bless you during this most difficult time.
With great affection,
Chuck Robison

As a graduate of the Biology Department at CCSU, Dr. Gorski was a rock star of his time; being an early proponent of environmental stewardship. He changed the way Connecticut managed its natural resources and brought new understanding to the field.

Dear Fran:
We were shocked and saddened to hear of Lee's sudden passing. We have missed you guys ever since you left V V N #6, because we used to enjoy talking with you both, and seeing Lee take pride in his antigue car! We also fondly referred to him as the Mayor of V V N, out on his bicycle, and knew that when we left to go up North, you guys were keeping an eye on things at our unit below yours. But since you moved, we hadn't seen you much. Please be assured of our thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time.
Ross and Linda, V V N, #139.
