Leonard OBLINGER Obituary

OBLINGER, Leonard Malcolm OBLINGER, Mildred Adele Leonard Malcolm Oblinger, age 93, died suddenly in Alpharetta, GA, on Dec. 23, 2013. He was born in New Hope, PA, on Aug. 15, 1920. Mildred Adele Danley Oblinger, age 91, passed away peacefully in her sleep in Alpharetta, GA, on Dec. 28, 2013. She was born in Groveville, NJ, on Nov. 22, 1922. Married for 69 years, they lived in Roebling, NJ, where he worked as a tool and die maker and she was a secretary. After retirement they moved to St. Petersburg. They had been residing with their son and his family in Alpharetta for nearly 3 years. Mrs. Oblinger is survived by her brother, Raymond Danley of Phoenix, AZ. Mr. and Mrs. Oblinger are also srvived by their son, David Oblinger of Alpharetta, GA; their two daughters, Janice Rutter of Chelmsford, MA, and Kay Bradshaw of Naples; five grandchildren, Colin Brechbill, Brent Rutter, Kristen Rutter, Amy Jarrow, and Jennifer Oblinger; and her several great-grandchildren. A service will be held on Jan. 19th, at 1 pm, for Leonard and Mildred, where they will be resting together in God's loving care at Memorial Park Cemetery, 4900 54th Avenue North, St. Petersburg. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
