Michael's friends and co-workers at FEMA, still remember him and miss how fun it was to work with someone like Michael. I am sure that his fun spirit came from his many family and friends, he spent a lifetime knowing!
Rest in peace, my friend!

Mike exuded pride for his family and his energy was happy and light. I was looking forward to the next time I would get to play cards with him since he beat me so bad the first time! His smile was warmth, his demeanor always kind, his character full of integrity. He will be truly missed by everyone.

My heart is very heavy since hearing Mike passing away news. I worked with Mike as a FASC in FL DR in 2019. I wish to offer my heartfelt condolences to his daughters and other family members as Mike was great to work with as always, he taught me a lot during FL-DR period, and he always offered to help or assist in any way possible and was a true team colleague. I know for sure I will miss Mike and his energize approachable smiley face. REST IN PEACE DEAR MIKE :-(

Losing Mike hit me hard. I worked several disasters with him and have served as his coach and mentor throughout his time with FEMA. Mike loved his family and he was proud of his daughters. He had a great big tender heart and he routinely helped others less fortunate than him. Mike was a good man and I will miss him very much. He is gone way too soon. Rest in peace, Mike. Prayers for Mike's family.

I´ve known Mike for a couple of years as we worked on a few disasters together. Recently, he served as my lead for 3 disasters in Region 7, as he exemplified core values of compassion, fairness, integrity and respect. He was a pleasure to work with; kind, patient, knowledgeable and fun. More importantly, he was an individual with a big heart, who loved his family, recently earned his MBA, and became successful in his career while following his passions. His sidebars, humor and real interest in people made him a standout. I worked with him everyday since mid February. Everything was going quite well - and then this very sad news that he is no longer here. I offer my deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. May God bless you and give you peace as you mourn his passing, celebrate his life and see him go to his ultimate home. Many hearts are broken, many tears shed for this wonderful man, father and coworker.

I loved his laugh and still hear it in my head. I have several voicemails from him which I, now, will never delete. I worked with him twice and will miss him so much. My heart and sympathies are with his family. Please find small strength knowing he was loved by his colleagues.

To Mike's beloved daughters:
Mike loved to hit the road from Panama City back to Tampa to see you on a Friday. I know he loved you both to the sky!
I loved working with Mike as his Supervisor in Panama City.
Working with Mike, was like getting to work with a beloved family member.
He will be missed.
