Brandon and Kristi, your Dad, Coach Hale to me, was the biggest coach I have ever had, both in heart and sheer size! I remember him as a great man who bonded with everyone both on and off the soccer field. And boy could he throw some weight around! There is no doubt he will be dearly missed by the family. I wanted to post so that everyone knew his impact on others. I last saw him roughly 25 years ago... but remember him clearly. May time ease the pain of this loss.

I'm definitely going to miss Uncle Andy so much. I'm so sad I haven't see him in years but I know he wa in good hands with his family. I will always remember his laughter, it was so contagious and you couldn't help but laugh with him. I will never forget get him dancing to that song by Nelly haha. Andy reminded me of Sodapop from the Outsiders. He was handsome, worked on cars, loved his family, kind, and the best friend to my dad. He will always stay forever in our hearts. We didn't lose him but instead we gained a guardian angel.

Kristi and family-
My heart aches for your loss. He was a wonderful man on campus at St. Pete High. He rocked a mustache like no one could, had a smile that was so infectious, and was a great man and example for all those he met. May the memories you have of him bring you joy during this difficult time.

I had known Andy from our days playing football at NorthEast High and as my administrator at Meadowlawn Middle. He was always a gentleman and a professional. He had a great sense of humor and wit. He will be missed by all. He was an exceptional person and friend.
I'm glad I was on the same team as Andy, as he could put quite the "HIT" on the other team.

A great man who brought a Boys Soccer team at St. Pete High School out of nowhere in 1986 and starting a winning tradition that went on during his tenure as Head Coach.

His mark at SPHS will be etched in the school's rich history.

We loved Andy and will miss him very much. Our families hung out together on Sundays when our kids were small. Andy always had a great story to share about his school and soccer kids. His humor was always point on and I will miss that too. So Big Guy, kick that soccer ball around up there.

Andy was the highlight of my college years at USF. I'd pick him up every Sunday night at his home and take him back to USF in my VW bug, which he folded himself into. He was a great PE teacher and exceptional administrator with always a great sense of humor and superb laugh! He will be missed. My condolences to his family.
