You were a great friend, Richard, to me and to all you met. You treated people with love, respect and compassion.
We talked a lot about a lot of thingslife, you being a Chaplin, Fire Fighter stories, plants & cool bugs of course. Oddly, we had that weird, ongoing conversation about what we would want on our tombstone Early on you said you wanted He was a hard worker! But then over the years you finally agreed that you would want He Loved, because of your outpouring and passionate love for people, animals and nature. You took the time- invested the time to talk to strangers (who usually became your friends), pet the dogs and respect all animals as God's creatures and would occasionally take the time to stop work to say Isn't it great that we get to work in the Garden of Eden! We're helping God out today! You were certainly a man of great passion.
You treated me with great respect, as an equal in business, listened and respected my opinions and always encouraged me to be at my best. Thank you for all you have done for me.
I pray for you and all of your family.
God Bless You.
