Richard RUMPF Obituary



RUMPF, Richard D., 74, of Sebring, Fla., passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2009. Mr.

Rumpf was born in Berks County, Pa. He moved to Sebring in 2003 from Reading, Pa. Mr. Rumpf was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a retired cook, a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Sebring and the Central Berks Lions Club International in Pennsylvania. He was a volunteer shuttle driver at Florida Hospital Heartland Division in Sebring and enjoyed photography, playing cards and cooking for friends and family. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Carolyn; two daughters and their husbands, Karen (Mark) Brown of Colonial Heights, Va., and Laurie (Brent) Lauer of Orwigsburg, Pa.; five stepchildren, Donald, Robert, Curtis, Susan and Steven Prince; brother, Ronald Greth of Miami, Fla.; sister, Evelyn Longenecker of Lebanon, Pa.; uncle, Robert Greth; and 13 grandchildren. Mr. Rumpf was preceded in death by one grandchild. A memorial service will take place at

1 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2009, in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Sebring. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Online condolences may be left at www.bankspagetheus.com Arrangements have been entrusted to Banks/Page-Theus
