Robert Rasp Obituary

RASP, Robert John 89, of Belleair Bluffs, passed away Jan. 3, 2011. Born in Buffalo, NY, he was an honorably discharged Air Force veteran. Prior to his retirement in 1983, Robert was an electrician and project manager at Buffalo Electric Co. He was an avid golfer and active member of the board of directors of two condo associations, a member of American Legion Post #273. A loving husband and father who was predeceased by his wife, Iva and daughter, Roberta. Survived by 2 sons, Dr. Martin T. and (Linda) Rasp of Lapeer, MI and John R. Rasp of Seminole; 3 daughters: Maureen T. Rasp-Glose and (Dr. Gerald Glose) of Lakeview, NY; Kathleen A. and (Dr. Timothy) O'Leary of Celebration, FL, and Jennifer R. and (Micheal) Smith of Oviedo, FL; 11 grandchildren and longtime girlfriend, Louie M. Easter. Graveside Service will be held 1:30 pm Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011 at Bay Pines National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at 1-800-227-2345.
