1963 - 2020

AMBROSE, Robin J. Born in St. Petersburg April 27, 1963, Robin John Ambrose, founder and owner of Pinnacle Security, passed away Dec. 4, 2020. He can best be remembered for his love of life which was best on display while hosting memorable events at his home from his annual Christmas party, weddings, birthdays, holidays, and political events, often attended by hundreds of guests. Rob was also known for extravagant acts of generosity, even purchasing vehicles for people in need. His passion for the St. Petersburg community was only matched by his love for the numerous rescue dogs he owned through the course of his life. Rob spent his final days doing what he loved best; enjoying the beautiful view of the Skyway waterfront surrounded by loved ones. Rob leaves behind a brother and a sister, beloved nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends that were all his family. A visitation will be held at David Gross Funeral Home 6366 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 4-7 pm, casual party attire is requested. A niche-side memorial service will follow at Woodlawn Memory Gardens, 101 58th Street South, St. Petersburg Friday, December 18, 2020 from 2-3 pm.
