William Hine Obituary

HINE, William F., 76, born September 5, 1928, of Lutz, Fla., formerly of New Hartford, Conn., died Sunday, May 8, 2005. Mr. Hine graduated from the University of Connecticut, Storrs, Conn., and he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for 32 years, retiring as a chief inspector. He is survived by his wife, Diana W. Hine; one son, William E. Hine; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and William Balfour Jr.; two granddaughters, Jennifer and Amy Balfour; and sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Robert Baldwin. He was a member of the Florida Flywheelers tractor club in Fort Meade, Fla. He spent his summers at Klondike Camping Resort in the Berkshires in Massachusetts. His interests included agriculture, current events and spending time with his family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Loyless Funeral Home Chapel.
