Florence Treneer Obituary

In Taunton, April 11, 2016 Florence L. (Molloy) Treneer, Age 99, passed away in Morton Hospital following a period of failing health while surrounded by her loving family. Florence was the wife of the late Reynold Treneer. She was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Joseph & Williamena (McDonald) Molloy. Florence had resided all her life in Taunton. She was employed for the Division of Unemployment for the Commonwealth of MA. Florence enjoyed dancing, teaching tap dance and was a devoted homemaker who loved spending time with her family. Florence is survived by her son Dennis Treneer and his wife Vivian of Taunton. She also leaves her grandchildren Kelley L. Spellane of NH, Kimberly A. Salamon of Taunton, Scott W. Treneer of North Attleboro, Joshua Vieira, Kaitlin Vieira and her great grandchildren Mollie Salamon, Madeline Salamon, Robert Treneer and her great great grandson Axen Vieira. Florence was also preceded in death by her sister Kathleen Sowyrda and her late husband Walter Sowyrda. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday, April 14th from 6-8pm. at the OKeefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma 02780. A funeral home service will be held at OKeefe-Wade on Friday at 11 am. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton. Florence Malloy and Kay were friends of our family for years. Growing up I was a frequent visitor at their home and also attended their weddings. My thoughts and prayers to the family. RIP Sonya Howland
