John Abreau Jr.

John Abreau Jr., age 63, of Taunton, passed away on April 22, 2017 after a short illness. John was born in Taunton, the son of Hazel (Orfao) Abreau of Taunton and the late John Abreau, Sr. Mr. Abreau was one of the retired owners of his families company, Abreau Oil Service, Inc. He was a former member of the P.A.C.C., he enjoyed fishing and playing golf. Besides his loving mother Hazel, John is survived by a son, Broderick Baker of Taunton, his sisters Cheryl Haskins and her husband Richard of Raynham and Claudia Lamb and her husband Peter of Taunton, he was the uncle and great-uncle of several nieces and nephews. John will also be missed by many friends especially from The Atlantic Caf. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at 10 am in Saint Anthony Church School St, Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway (at Saint Marys Square) in Taunton on Wednesday, April 26th, from 4 to 7 pm.
