Margaret Vieira Obituary

Margaret Virginia (Ginger) Vieira passed away July 4, 2021 in Taunton after a valiant battle with cancer. Her beloved husband of 27 years Dan Vieira, her family and friends already miss her ready laugh, love of gardening and cooking, and passionate debates.
Throughout her life Ginger treasured the friendships she made during her 40 years in newspaper advertising sales at the Brockton Enterprise, Taunton Daily Gazette and others; as well as during her later years in food distribution, her summers at Bourne Scenic Park and at her recent winter home in Port Charlotte, Florida. She was also pleased to be a member of her community through the VFW Auxiliary and The Lodge of Elks.
Ginger is survived by stepdaughter Bobbi-Jo Vieira, granddaughters Alex and Haley Sherman; her siblings and their spouses - Louise and Larry Barden, Ted Cary, MJ and Jim Maurer, and Bill and Maureen Cary; and by her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her previous husband of 19 years Elbridge Glidden, her parents Ruth and Ray Cary, and her sister Betsy Kingsbury.
Services will be private. Condolences may be left at okeefewade.com. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Most of all, Ginger asked that family and friends remember her by trying to live, act and speak with kindness.
