It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Alfred "Freddie" Solomon has left this earth. Known to many as "Pops" or "Smith", he was well loved by the Salerno community. He was a long time commercialfisherman in the Salerno area. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 40 years, Katherine, his daughter Lisa Solomon Rathbun (Jason Ray Rathbun), his son, Jordon Robert Solomon (8), Grandsons, Jason and Chase Rathbun, all of Port Salerno, FL. He also leaves behind his siblings, Dorice Timmons (Rodger), Cairo, GA, Sandra McMullen, Cairo, GA, John Solomon (Debra), Sandlake, MI, Thomas Solomon, Cairo, GA, Rose Manasco, (Colt), Cairo, GA, Michael Solomon, Cairo, GA, and Norie Solomon, Andalusia, AL, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Freddie was predeceased, by his parents, Dorice Orr Solomon and Allen George Solomon, Sr., his brothers, Allen George Solomon, Jr. and James Robert Solomon, his sister Cathy Jean Solomon Moses, his nephew John David Solomon, Jr. and his great, great nephew Aiden Lee Timmons.
Freddie was born Alfred Larry Solomon on January 2, 1955. He lost his battle with cancer onWednesday, March 2nd, 2016. A memorial was held in his honor on Sunday at Sandsprit Park.

To myself wonderful brother, know that I love you and miss you. You are always in my heart and never forgotten. You are in a better place . You have gotten your wings now and now you go we're mom, dad ,Cathy, Allen,Jimmy, Aiden and my husband James and your brother in law already have there wings wings. My dad loved to go fishing with Uncle Freddie. He always had a good time and it took his mind off of his own sickness. They can be together now and joke and fish and be pain free at last.
