Frank Haas Obituary

Frank Ernest Haas, 78, of Jupiter, died Friday, Nov. 3. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in the Jupiter area since April 1, 2004, moving from Sag Harbor, N.Y. He was a former vice president of Revere Copper & Brass Inc., lead division. He was a volunteer firefighter and captain of the rescue squad in Wantagh, N.Y. He was a graduate of Columbia University and the first coxswain of the rowing team to become a captain. Survivors include his wife, Helga; a son, Eric Haas of Cape Coral, Fla.; two daughters, Karen Haas Baker of Palm Beach Gardens, and Debra Haas of Stuart; three stepchildren, Nancy Meyer, Roger Meyer and Marcel Meyer; two granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren; Private services will be at a later date. Arrangements were by Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, Jupiter.
