John Adam Widelski (1926~2019).
John Widelski was born in New Bedford, MA. During WWII, he served as a gunner's mate aboard both the U.S.S. Wingfield and the U.S.S. Bronstein. After the war, he served for twenty years as a corrections officer at Bridgewater State Prison for the Criminally Insane. John began a family with the late Margaret "Betty" Sullivan. Together, they made two children. John Widelski started the Anchor Aquariums business. He owned the factory that built the aquariums. He also owned the carpentry shop that built the aquarium stands. John A. Widelski was a great man. May he rest in peace. He is survived by his son, John Widelski, his daughter, Susan Fortin, and his grandson, Jason Fortin. Arrangements entrusted to All County Funeral Home and Crematory Treasure Coast Chapel, Stuart, Fl.
