Just finished watching the movie...
"Over the Top" with Stallone in it and it is a good movie for sure but there was absolutely no slamming our arms down quickly like this movie projects for sure and Sam who was stronger than me for sure and took me to within an inch of defeat several times but I just never gave up and even had him pretty close to that as well after about the 4 minute mark for sure and he also never ever gave up as well which I think is why we both had a LOT of Respect for each other!

Sure wish I could have found him before he passed away for sure and we would have had a great phone call over that night for sure.

RIP Sam and see you again my Brother for sure!

I did not know Sam real well and sure wish I would have gotten a chance to know him a lot better than I did for sure! I went to high school with Sam and he was a good guy and a very strong guy mentally and physically for sure and was very well respected by anyone that was a good judge of character for sure. I have an arm wrestling story between me and Sam that very few people witnessed or roils ever remember even if they were at this high school keg party with $100 bucks on the line which was a lot if money back in 1983 for high school students to be gambling with for sure back then and the end result was after what seemed liked Two hours which was probably 8 to 10 minutes which is extreme for arm wrestling we both decided to call it a tie and it was actually my idea and I could not beat him and he could not beat me but I was the under dog for sure and just not getting put down by Sam Short after a very long time was victory enough for me for sure and we drank a few beers together after that and we definitely bonded and had mutual respect for each other after that for sure which I think met a lot to both of us and sure wish we would have got to know each other better after that but we never did for whatever reason.
I worked at advanced garage doors for many years and me and my brother went to a cabinet shop in Vero to repair a broken door and I saw Sam there and we talked for a little bit to catch up abd we fixed the broken door and just when I was done and we were loading up out tools etc yo move in to the next service call that day Sam came running up to us and said thank you brother for fixing our door and I made you a little gift to show my appreciation while you were here and he handled me a very nice white cutting board that was the perfect size and all of the edging on it was perfect and I was pretty excited to receive it and he seemed pretty excited to have made it for me and given it to me and I thanked him very much and we shook hands firmly and then even did one of those bro hugs as well which was pretty cool for sure and then after that day I never saw Sam Short ever again unfortunately which I regret and wish I would have for sure.

I was compelled yo search for Sam tonight for whatever reason just to see how he was doing and hopefully catch up a little on our current situations hopefully and couldn“t find him on FB do I just googled his name and in Vero Beach and found out that he had recently passed away and that just made me really sad and that I sure wish I roils have searched for him much earlier.

Rest in piece my brother and I can assure you that I will see you again when the time is right!
