Both my late husband, Jim Brown, and I attended Robert Gray Elementary from 1959 through 5th grade. Mr. Grocott was a great principal and a wonderful man. We attended the open house when R.G. was rebuilt and visited with Mr. Grocott then. He remembered us. My Jim died three weeks after we learned about his brain tumor in March 2025. Mr. Grocott and Mrs. Manners made a good team. We loved them both. I've been praying for you all as I know the importance of that. One day at a time, sweet Jesus.
