I am truly sad for Mrs Maxey's family. Burke and I were the best of friends while growing up. She was a lady of class. I shall never forget her or Dan. I pray God will be close to you all at this time and forever. She was such a special lady. Contact me if you are up to it-Jack McWain

My prayers go out to the family. I graduated from Kelso High in 1968. Mrs. Maxey was the girls counselor then. She always had a smile on her face, and was there if we had a problem. She will be missed.
