Ashley Bates Obituary
PUTNAM, CT - Ashley Bridget Bates, 27, of Putnam, CT, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013. She was born in Worcester, MA, beloved daughter of Steven J. and Dawn B. (Beaudet) Bates of Putnam, formerly of Worcester.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Meaghan A. (Bates) Faucher, her brother-in-law and two nieces of Brooklyn, CT; paternal grandmother, Ethel Bates of Auburn, MA, maternal grandparents Ronald and Anne "Nancy" Beaudet of South Dennis, MA; and several close aunts, uncles, and cousins with whom she shared many joyous events throughout her life. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Harry W. Bates, of Worcester.
Ashley graduated from Putnam High School. She was an avid reader who enjoyed caring for animals and following her favorite music groups. She was known for her kind smile and gentle, generous spirit and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
The funeral service will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ashley B. Bates Memorial Fund in care of Northeastern CT Health Care Credit Union, 320 Pomfret Street, Putnam, CT 06260.

Dawn, Steve and Meaghan. Thinking of all of you during this difficult time. I'm remembering all the fun Ash and I used to have, particularly the band trip to Disney.
