Brett Latour Obituary

Brett R. Latour, 28

Dudley - Brett R. Latour, 28, died Thursday, January 28, 2021 in Harrington Healthcare at Hubbard after an illness.

He leaves his mother, Janet E. Gadoury, with whom he lived; his father, Anthony J. Latour, Jr. of Oxford; his daughter, Anna Latour, her mother Nicole Shilinsky and a step-sister Emma, all of Millville; 2 brothers, Anthony T. Latour III and his wife Elissa of Dudley and Wade D. Latour and his fiancé Jerrika Dubsky of Charlton; 2 nieces, Ariana and Liliana Latour of Dudley; 4 uncles, Donald and Jimmy Gadoury, Louis Latour and Michael Freeman; 4 aunts, LuAnn Gadoury and Jean Deary, Joanne Latour and Gloria Freeman; his paternal grandparents, Arthur and Patricia Freeman of Oxford; and many cousins.

He was born on April 19, 1992 in Worcester and lived in Dudley all his life. He graduated from Shepherd Hill Regional High School in 2010 where he was a striker on the varsity soccer team.

Mr. Latour was a union laborer for Local #243 in Worcester.

He enjoyed sports, especially the Patriots and playing Fantasy Football with friends. He liked spending time with his nieces and nephews and especially with his daughter Anna, the light of his life.

His funeral will be held Thursday, February 4, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street, Webster. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 3, in the funeral home. Current health guidelines will be in place and everyone must wear a mask. Instead of flowers, the family would prefer donations to help his beloved daughter Anna in the upcoming years (go to Anna Latour's gofundme.com page https://gofund.me/6aF2da50)
